Even during the depths of the recession, Florida was still building things. From homes and apartments to commercial buildings, construction throughout the state may have slowed, but never died. Now that the state appears to be coming out of the economic doldrums, construction activity is increasing and jobs are becoming more plentiful.

Whether you are experienced or not, there is an immediate need for electricians. Through Tradesmen International, there are a number of electrician positions to be filled. These unskilled positions include electrician helpers and apprentices. Located in Pensacola, these jobs can pay up to $18 per hour and offer job security as well as satisfaction.

At the helper level, you will assist electricians in wiring and circuitry jobs. In addition to helpers and apprentices, if you are a licensed electrician with experience Pensacola is the place to be.

Tradesmen International also has openings in their Jacksonville office for maritime project coordinators. These positions pay between $24,000 and $30,000 per year to start.

If you have a master plumber certificate, Integrity Trade Services in Fort Myers has immediate openings. You must have at least five years plumbing experience, be licensed and have a master plumber rating.

If you don't have actual trade training or experience, there are managerial jobs available on Florida construction projects. M.C. Dean, Inc. in Hialeah is currently looking for an operations manager supervisor. To qualify for this position, you will need the appropriate qualifications and experience.

Suncoast Roofers Supply in Lakeland has openings for drivers. If you have a CDL A&B driver's license and relevant driving experience, this is a good time to apply.

Florida construction jobs continue to ensure the economic independence of millions of Florida households. There are many construction-related jobs available throughout the state. Find one that suits your background and experience and get to work!
